2. Our Services
At Melbourne Ultrasound for Women, we offer a variety of ultrasound services, including:
Early Pregnancy Scans
NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing)
13, 20, and Third Trimester Scans
Pelvic and Gynaecological Ultrasound
3D/4D Imaging
HyCoSy (Hysterosalpingo-contrast Sonography)
3. Referral Requirement
To ensure you get the right ultrasound service, we require a referral from a doctor, obstetrician, or gynaecologist for all appointments. You can submit your referral through HealthLink (EDI: melbnufw), email, or in person when you arrive.
4. Booking Your Appointment
Booking an appointment with us is easy! You can book online or give us a call at (03) 9521 6777. Our appointments are subject to availability, so make sure to schedule in advance. Once you’ve confirmed your appointment, we’ll be ready to provide the care you need.
5. Payment & Fees
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit card, debit card, and cash. If you’re covered by insurance, please bring the necessary paperwork, and we’ll help process it. Any remaining balance after insurance is due immediately.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens — we get it! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice. If you don’t, there may be a small cancellation fee. We appreciate your understanding, as this helps us serve all of our patients more efficiently.
7. Your Role as a Patient
To ensure the best experience, we ask that you:
Provide accurate and complete medical history.
Follow any instructions we provide (such as fasting or having a full bladder).
Arrive on time for your appointment so we can serve you promptly.
8. Privacy and Data Protection

9. What We Can't Do
We aim for accurate results, but no diagnostic tool is perfect. Ultrasound may not catch everything, and sometimes further testing is needed. While we always strive to provide the best care, we’re not liable for any missed diagnoses or errors that may occur.

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. If we do, we’ll make sure the changes are posted here, so please check back occasionally.
