  • Dr Victor Hurley - Specialist in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound, Melbourne.

    Dr Victor Hurley

    Dr Victor Hurley is an experienced Obstetrician Gynaecologist who works exclusively in women’s ultrasound and diagnostic procedures. Known for his gentle approach, clear communication style, and commitment to patient-centred care, Dr Hurley strives to ensure every woman feels comfortable, understood, and fully informed during her scan.

    He is a past President of the Australian Association of Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasonologists (AAOGU) and has been a long-standing examiner and committee member for the RANZCOG subspecialty in ultrasound.

    Dr Hurley previously held senior academic and consultant positions at Melbourne University, the Mercy Hospital for Women, the Royal Women’s Hospital, and Mercy Maternity.

    He now practices full-time at Melbourne Ultrasound for Women, where he brings decades of expertise together with a calm, respectful, and empathetic manner. His priority is to deliver the highest-quality ultrasound imaging while ensuring every woman feels safe, supported, and cared for.

With their exceptional expertise and state-of-the-art technology, our sonographers ensure that every patient receives the highest quality care and diagnoses.

    Martine Chadwick

    SONOGRAPHER

    Martine has over 25 years of experience in Sonography (she has stopped counting), having worked in a range of multi-disciplinary areas over that time.

    Martine has a licentiate Diploma in Public Speaking and strangely actually enjoys talking in public. She has presented at many local, national and international conferences and has been involved in numerous research projects and publications through Monash University.

    She is a passionate and somewhat annoying advocate for clinically accurate ultrasound imaging at the sacrifice of the more fashionable faster scan. She has trained many peers, rheumatologists and international fellows.
